In Riomaggiore, you’ll find the Church of St. John the Baptist from the 14th century and the tourist attraction “Lover’s Path” – a promenade with a spectacular view of the coastline.

Islands

Cinque Terre is located on the coast of the Ligurian Sea, and nearby are three islands – Palmaria, Tino, and Tinetto. These three islands belong to the archipelago ” Golfo di La Spezia” or “Ligurian Archipelago,” and they are located between Cinque Terre and the city of La Spezia.

The largest of these three islands is Palmaria, which is also the most accessible to tourists.

Tino Island has a military base and is not open to the public, while Tinetto is an uninhabited and undiscovered island, with an area of only 0.12 square kilometers.
